The First Irish Baptist Martyr : Thomas De-Laune

Born of poor tenant farmers in Cork, Thomas received a classical education and along the way was converted and became a convinced Baptist.
Moving to London his writings, which were fiercely in favour of the Baptist cause, were eventually used as the reason to imprison him.

The Boldness of Benjamin Keach

Benjamin Keach (1640-1704) has been described by Professor Michael Haykin as “The most important Baptist thinker of his day.”
Keach suffered persecution and harassment during most of his life as a Baptist pastor. Walker highlights his boldness in the light of these trials.
In 2004 Pastor Walker published the first full length biography of Benjamin Keach.

500th Anniversary of Erasmus' Greek NT

Desiderius Erasmus was the greatest classical scholar of his age and the publication of his Greek New Testament in 1516 played a vital role in the Reformation, being used as the primary source-text for Martin Luther to translate the New Testament into German for the first time in 1522, and for William Tyndale to translate the New Testament into English for the first time in 1526.
