I found the modules rigorous and they stretched me to think beyond the conventional boundaries where Christians can so easily find their ‘comfort zone.’

Ten Year Vision

Providing pastors and missionaries for our churches is at the heart of the Irish Baptist College's vision.

This vision emanates from the Great Commission of Jesus in Matthew 28:19 to "make disciples of all nations" and the command of Paul to Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:2 to "entrust [the teaching he had received] to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others." The training of men and women for sustained and effective Christian service has therefore been central to the ministry of the College ever since its foundation in 1892. Periodically this vision has been given a fresh focus and so, in April 2017, the College launched a Ten Year Vision which has as its goal the placing of 70 workers in gospel service in a ten year period.

Since 2017, 62 graduates of the College have been placed in various types of gospel service including pastoral, mission, youth, and religious education teaching vocations.
